Welcome to Redding Dental P.C., where the look and, most importantly, the function of smiles are the specialty. Dr. Lee Redding began the practice in 1976 after completing his service in the Army Dental Corps and moving to Moultrie, Georgia. Thirty-three years later, his son Dr. John Lee Redding joined the practice in 2009. Dr. John Lee gained a wealth of knowledge in patient and business management from his father. They worked together for 13 years as colleagues, fulfilling a lifelong dream for both of them.
As a prosthodontist, Dr. John Lee has brought a more comprehensive specialized perspective to the practice. While he enjoys all aspects of dentistry, ultimately, he chose to further his education by completing a two-year hospital dentistry residency that included rotations in oral and maxillofacial surgery, anesthesia, and primary/emergency medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine. Next, he completed a three-year prosthodontics specialty residency at UAB School of Dentistry. Prosthodontics allows him to work with all dental specialties and provides the most treatment diversification. Dr. John Lee is the type of person who wants to be able to delve deeply into a topic so he can understand all of its complexities. Prosthodontics allows him to find the best treatment option for his patients because of his extensive cross-specialty training.
